Innovation Day 2010

Find out more about collaborative working opportunities with DMU by attending our free event, meet our research experts and attend equipment demonstrations.

The De Montfort University Pharmaceutical Technologies group is involved in the research and development of products for the pharmaceutical, food and healthcare industries

Our activities cover many aspects of drug development, food product optimisation, and manufacturing process control, including:

§  Drug delivery using controlled release systems

§  Smart bio-responsive materials, such as the artificial pancreas for insulin delivery (INsmart)

§  Batch production of crystalline materials§  Powder science and technology§  Freeze-drying of amorphous materials

§  Microbiological control

§  Biomaterials and Biosensors
